Assembly Square Funding Press Conference

This important press conference will be held Monday morning at Assembly Square with Governor Patrick, Senator Kerry and Congressman Capuano. The event will focus on I-Cubed funding, GDI funding and stimulus funding for the Assembly on the Mystic project. Issues of interest:

Assembly Square Access Improvement Public Hearing

This is a public hearing to be held by the MassHighway regarding the Assembly Square Access Improvement Project. This provides an opportunity for citizens to comment on the transportation improvements around the Square. Matters of interest:

  • Roadway and signal improvements within Assembly Square and on Mystic Ave., Lombardi, Broadway, and Route 28.
  • Easements and land acquisitions.
  • Bicycle lanes in the affected areas.
  • Comments from now until July 18 will be available at the hearing.
  • Comment period 10 days after hearing.
